Growing Generations to Speak at US Surrogacy Conference
October 1, 2016
Los Angeles based surrogacy & egg donor agency Growing Generations is pleased to announce their participation in the Families through Surrogacy US Conference this October.
Growing Generations’ co-owner and psychologist Dr. Kim Bergman is slated to offer the keynote address at the conference. Her presentation centers on the psychology of surrogacy and what motivates a woman to become a gestational carrier. Bergman will touch on issues including why the surrogate does not feel maternal bonds with the child and what characteristics are frequently seen in successful surrogates. Dr. Bergman is a well-respected member of the assisted reproduction community and has given similar presentations in several countries over the past year. Dr. Bergman will also be participating in a panel on maintaining your sanity during the surrogacy journey.
In addition, 2-time Growing Generations surrogate Mandy Storer will also be speaking at the conference. Storer will participate in a panel discussion talk about why she chose surrogacy, what was important to her in finding a match, how she overcame any potential obstacles, independent surrogacy vs. agency assisted surrogacy, and how it felt at the end to go home without the child she had carried.
Also, please visit Dr. Bergman and Mandy at the Growing Generations booth to learn more about our program and to speak with a surrogate.
The conference, scheduled for October 1st, 2016, will be held at the Courtyard Los Angeles Westside in Culver City, CA . The event features a multitude of presentations and panel discussions.
In addition to participating in multiple discussions, Growing Generations is a proud platinum level sponsor of the conference.
