Staff Feature: Jennifer Chang

Jennifer Chang is the Director of International Relations- Asia Pacific for Growing Generations. She began at Growing Generations as a Case Specialist working with surrogate & egg donor cases in 2011.

Jennifer’s main responsibilities remain in Case Management, where she assists throughout their surrogacy journey.  She has a special spot in her heart for referral clients, listing those referrals among her proudest moments because she knows it means that someone else had an incredible experience with Growing Generations.

Jennifer came to Growing Generations while looking for a position where her fluency in Chinese could be utilized. Having previously investigated egg donation, the field felt familiar and became a natural fit. Today her favorite part of working in this field is the moment when one of her clients is confirmed pregnant, or the day their surrogate delivers. She says that she just loves feeling the excitement, joy, and relief in those very special moments.

Jennifer holds a B.A. Degree in Media Studies from UC Berkeley and lists spending time with her two dogs, shopping, traveling, and trying new foods among her favorite hobbies. She currently lives in Shanghai, China but maintains a stateside address in California as well.

She has a long bucket list: she wants to visit Machu Pichu, become fluent in a third and fourth language, and eventually become the mom of at least three kids.
