Staff Feature: Stephanie Remke

Stephanie Remke is an Egg Donor Admissions Specialist who has been with Growing Generations since 2013. She is responsible for assisting potential donors through every step of their process. From questions prior to application through creating their match sheets, Stephanie can help with all aspects of egg donation.

As such, donors will interact with Stephanie early and regularly through their process. The first real one-on-one verbal communication though is from the point of the consult call.

She says she always knew that her calling was to help people, but would have never imagined it’d be through egg donation. With years of experience in customer service, and a strong background in the medical field, Stephanie feels lucky to have found a job that utilizes her professional skills to help others.

For Stephanie, working with Growing Generations is an incredible experience based on everyday joys. She says, “I get to work with a group of people that I genuinely care about, a company that appreciates and acknowledges everyone’s hard work, and get to be a small piece of the puzzle that brings happiness to others with the gift of a child. What’s not to love?”

It is no surprise that Stephanie loves helping to create families, as she notes that her own family is the joy of her life! She speaks passionately about her mother, father, and brothers, especially her younger brother, Matt.

In her free time Stephanie loves to cook, specifically baking. When not in the kitchen Stephanie is a self-proclaimed movie geek. She enjoys cuddling up with her Jack Russell Terrier, Heinz, for a movie night in, or going out to catch a live sporting event. Her favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and West Virginia Mountaineers.  She also is an active volunteer with the special needs program at her church and with community events in her hometown.

Her bucket list is long, and growing longer by the year. Mostly it consists of places she’d like to travel, many of them related to her Italian roots. She’s a huge Beatles fan, so making it across the pond to London and Liverpool is also pretty high up there on her list!
