HOW WE SUPPORT INTENDED PARENTS

Once you decide to start your parenthood journey with us, everything we do is tailored to you and your needs.

THE SURROGACY PROCESS FOR PARENTS

When you’re ready to start on your path to parenthood, you’ll follow the below process:

Start your journey to parenthood by booking a complimentary consultation. As you learn more about our surrogacy program and surrogates, we will also get to know you, your expectations, and your needs.

When you are ready to get started, you will sign a retainer agreement and pay a retainer fee, allowing us permission to start your surrogacy journey. This retainer can be done at any time, including during your initial consultation.

Growing Generations offers a match guarantee. If your surrogate does not pass the medical or overall wellness screening, we will cover the screening expenses up to $5,000. Once you are matched with a surrogate, one of our staff members will facilitate a match meeting via video conference.

We will get your surrogate medically prepared for additional testing and the embryo transfer. It is at this point that you will begin funding your Growing Generations expense account.

As the pregnancy enters its second trimester, we will prepare you, your surrogate, and the hospital for the delivery of your child. We will be with you throughout the delivery process and beyond.

Surrogacy For Intended Parents FAQs

  • Intended parents are the individuals or couples who will become the legal parents of a child born through surrogacy. They may use their own eggs or sperm, donor eggs or sperm, or both, to create embryos that the surrogate will carry through pregnancy. Regardless of genetic connection, intended parents are recognized as the child’s legal parents.

  • We welcome intended parents from all backgrounds, including heterosexual couples, LGBTQIA+ couples, single individuals, and international families. There are no restrictions based on marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. During your consultation, we'll discuss your specific situation and help determine the best path forward.

  • Working with an experienced surrogacy agency provides structured support throughout the journey. At Growing Generations, we manage surrogate screening, matching, and coordination with medical and legal professionals. Independent surrogacy often requires intended parents to manage these complex steps on their own, which can introduce additional risks and logistical challenges.

  • Yes. Many intended parents work with their preferred IVF clinic for embryo creation and transfer. We coordinate closely with clinics across the country and internationally to ensure seamless communication and scheduling throughout your journey.

  • Match timelines vary depending on the program. Intended parents in our Heritage program can expect an expedited match timeline. Our Legacy program offers the same quality of screening, case management, and personalized service on a more flexible timeline. During your consultation, we will help identify which program aligns with your needs.

  • We collect a single flat-rate fee that covers all required insurance products for your surrogate. That means your insurance costs remain fixed throughout the journey, with no adjustments for additional cycles, a loss of current insurance, or shifts in premiums or deductibles. We manage all insurance coordination from match through delivery.

  • Absolutely. We have extensive experience supporting intended parents from around the world, including families from Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Our team helps navigate the legal, logistical, and documentation requirements involved in international surrogacy.

  • Surrogacy laws vary across the U.S. and internationally. Intended parents typically work with experienced reproductive law attorneys to establish parentage and navigate legal requirements throughout the journey. We help coordinate introductions to experienced legal professionals who guide families through these steps.

Donor Options for Intended Parents

Some intended parents pursuing surrogacy also work with an egg donor or sperm donor. When donor support becomes part of your journey, we guide you through donor selection and coordinate directly with fertility clinics on your behalf.

We work with carefully screened donors, including egg donors drawn from the top 1% of applicants and sperm donors selected from the top 3% of candidates. We help you find a match that aligns with your goals and preferences.

THE DONOR PROCESS FOR PARENTS

FINDING YOUR IDEAL SPERM DONOR

Finding the right sperm donor is a deeply personal experience, unique to every family we work with. At Growing Generations, all matches are directed donations, meaning some level of contact between the donor and intended parents is part of the process. The extent of that contract varies and is guided by your preferences, your clinic’s protocols, and legal considerations. Whether you prefer ongoing communication or minimal interaction, all expectations are clearly discussed and agreed upon before a match is finalized - ensuring a transparent and informed experience for everyone involved. Once a match is confirmed, the process typically takes 2-3 months to complete.

SELECTING YOUR IDEAL EGG DONOR

When selecting an egg donor, you want to choose the right one for your family. Growing Generations is here to make your search and choice easier.

You can start by creating your account for exclusive access to our extensive donor database to find the right match for your family. Once you select a profile from the database, our team will contact the egg donor to confirm her availability and send your IVF physician her records, and we’ll begin the steps to confirm your match. Once your match is confirmed, the egg retrieval can happen within three to five months.

Overview of Egg Donation Costs

The total estimated costs for becoming pregnant via an egg donor with Growing Generations can range from:

$46,000 to $91,000

OVERVIEW OF Sperm Donation Costs

The total estimated costs related to a sperm donor journey with Growing Generations is:

$34,000 to $44,000

Egg & Sperm Donation For Intended Parents FAQs

  • Egg donation may be part of your path to parenthood for a variety of reasons, whether medical circumstances or personal choice. We help all family types find the right donor match for their family-building needs. Whether you are LGBTQIA+, a single parent by choice, or any other family orientation, we have a long-standing reputation for guiding you through donor selection and coordinating with your fertility clinic throughout the process.

  • The egg donation process begins by helping you find an egg donor whose background and preferences align with your family building goals. We also manage the matching process and coordinate with your fertility clinic. Once you have selected a donor, we coordinate with your clinic during the screening and retrieval process. The retrieved eggs are fertilized in a laboratory to create embryos, which can then be transferred to a gestational surrogate or frozen for future use depending on your plan.

  • The process begins by creating a search account to review sperm donor profiles, which include details such as education, health, and family and genetic history. You can also learn more about each donor's personality through photos, personal essay questions, and short videos. Once you have selected a donor, we coordinate the next steps with your fertility clinic. After confirming your match, we guide you through medical screening, legal agreements, and scheduling. The sperm donation process generally takes about 2-3 months to complete.
